Synopsis
A 35 ans, Rohan accepte d’épouser Mahi, un vieil homme. Il a été enseignant et est maintenant le gardien d’un sanctuaire au pouvoir de guérison auquel il ne croit pas. Un drame les met en conflit avec le fanatisme des villageois. Plongée dans un Iran méconnu en proie aux questions religieuses, habitée par une grande poésie.

Biography
Born in Iran in 1974 Nahid Hassanzadeh lives and works in Teheran. She graduated as a midwife from the University of Tehran and studied film at the ‘Iranian Young Cinema Society’. She focuses on the situation of women in patriarchal societies.
