Synopsis
Daniela, réfugiée chilienne, est arrivée, enfant,au Canada, après l’assassinat de sa mère pendant la dictature chilienne. Son père, Pepe, ne veut jamais parler du Chili, mais lorsque sa fille Rocío commence à poser des questions, Daniela décide de demander la nationalité chilienne pour un premier voyage de retour. Elle est sur le point de découvrir bien plus qu’elle ne l’imaginait.

Biography
Araneda holds a BFA from York University and an MFA from UBC, and is additionally a three-time alumna of the fabled Film Farm. She has completed 16 short films to-date, which have been presented at film festivals, artist run centers and art museums around the world, and that have been recognized with various awards and distinctions nationally and internationally.
