En filigrane l’histoire du cinéma iranien d’avant la révolution avec des scènes osées, impensables et impossibles aujourd’hui !
NL Shahrzad, danseres, regisseur en schrijfster, een pionier in haar land in de jaren zestig, hoeft na de revolutie niet op de welwillendheid van het nieuwe islamitische regime te rekenen en ziet haar carrière in het slop raken. De geschiedenis van de Iraanse cinema voor de revolutie, met scènes die vandaag gedurfd, ondenkbaar en onmogelijk zijn!
