Een volwassen blik op haar jeugdherineringen : Zij groeide op tijdens de Iraans-Irakese oorlog en geeft een impressie van die tijd door het foto-album van haar vader. Tegelijkertijd wordt ze geconfronteerd met de eenzaamheid in haar huwelijjk. Foto-roman gefinaliseerd in post-productie in België in 2020.
Setareh Samavi, Ross Mc Clean

Née en Iran en 1982, Setareh Samavi est diplômée en réalisation de films à l’Université Sooreh de Téhéran en 2008 et reçoit en 2009 un MDA en production-édition de RSICA (Jordanie). Après avoir eu la chance de travailler avec Kathryn Bigelow et Anaïs Barbeau-Lavalette sur leurs derniers films tournés en Jordanie, elle est installée à Bruxelles depuis 2016 et a obtenu un Master en réalisation de films documentaires à DOC NOMADS. Elle a réalisé à ce jour 7 courts documentaires.

Born in Iran, 1982, Setareh Samavi graduated in film directing at the Sooreh University of Tehran in 2008 and received, in 2009, an MDA in Producing-Editing from RSICA (Jordania). After having had the chance to work with Kathryn Bigelow and Anaïs Barbeau-Lavalette on their last films shot in Jordan, she’s been living in Brussels since 2016 and she got a Master degree in documentary filmmaking at DOC NOMADS. She has directed 7 short documentaries.
